Preserving Your Photos: From Digital Files to Heirlooms

We put so much love and care into creating beautiful images for you — and we hope you'll put just as much care into preserving them. Because photos that live only on a hard drive or a phone are photos that might one day disappear.

Our first recommendation: back up your digital files in at least two places. An external hard drive plus a cloud service like Google Photos or iCloud is a great combination. Hard drives fail. Phones get lost. Having redundancy protects your memories.

Our second recommendation: print something. There is something irreplaceable about a physical photo — a framed print on the wall, a coffee table album, a small canvas in the hallway. These are the things your kids and grandkids will one day hold in their hands.

We offer professional print products through our studio because we believe in the quality and longevity of archival printing. But wherever you choose to print, please — print something. Your future self will thank you.
